CHEZ CARR CUISINE – THE COOKBOOK

If you want 440 recipes (from beverages to desserts) that are tried and true, easy to follow, contain mostly readily available ingredients, with comments that reveal more about me than you ever wanted to know – this is the cookbook for you. But, before you spend your hard earned money in such a reckless manner, there are a few things about the book you should know:

  • The cookbook was written primarily for family and friends.
  • There are no pretty food pictures in this cookbook. None. Zilch. Zip. Nada. If you only like books with pictures in them, may I recommend “Where the Wild Things Are” by writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak!
  • Most of the recipes are my inspirations, but a few are directly from sources such as Cooking Light magazine (my favorite, by the way) and great friends who happen to be fabulous cooks. Please note, all sources are given credit (if I know the source, that is) because I believe it is only fair to give credit where credit is due. (I always got “plays well with others” on my report cards!)
  • Chez Carr Cuisine – the cookbook, was self published. So unfortunately there are a few missppelled words, a couple of sentances ending with dangling participles, (I tried hard not to dangle my participles in public, but I am after all – human), and lots of references to places, events, and people that you don’t know, will never know, and might not even want to know!

If you are still interested in purchasing a cookbook, please email me at chezcarrcuisine@wavecable.com. The price is $18.00. There are no additional hidden charges such as postage, handling or inconvenient timing – just $18.00 US. Caveat: Of course, if you live in – say – Timbuktu, Mali, you can bet your bottom US dollar, that there will be an additional charge for postage.
